Preparing a Future Leader
Why?
It is absolutely essential
that you spend time today preparing tomorrow’s leaders. Future
leaders may be performing well in their current positions, but their current
positions may not grow the skills they need—strategic planning, assertiveness,
presenting, negotiating, coaching, etc—to succeed at the next level.
We assess the future
leader on the competencies critical for success at the next level, develop an
action plan to enable him/her to master those competencies, and work with
him/her over the course of a year to implement the new skills.
Tools:
Competency models; anonymous 360-degree
interviews; assessments of leadership style, critical thinking, values, and
interpersonal style.
Time:
12-24 months; 8 hours in months one and
two; 2-4 hours in subsequent months.
